The Hopkinton Police Department is actively investigating a serious motor vehicle crash that occurred on Lumber Street. At approximately 5:45pm the Communications Center received a 911 call of a motorcycle crash into a tree. Dispatchers immediately began offering Emergency Medical Dispatching instructions and dispatched public safety resources to the scene. On arrival units discovered a 46 year old Hopkinton man with critical injuries. The man was conscious and speaking at the time of his transport to the hospital. Massachusetts State Police Accident Reconstruction Team was requested to the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
