2015 Hopkinton High School Pep Rally Playback

The 2015 Hopkinton High School Pep Rally took place today before the Homecoming Game against Holliston. For anyone who may have missed it, HCAM will be replaying the Pep Rally all weekend long.

On Friday, October 9, it will replay on HCAM-ED (Comcast channel 96 or Verizon channel 31) at 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

On Saturday, October 10, it will replay on HCAM-ED at 9:30 AM, 3:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 10:00 PM. It will replay on HCAM-TV (Comcast channel 8 or Verizon channel 30) at 5:30 PM.

Gothic Ghost Tales at the Hopkinton Public Library

Some of the most imaginative and original writers of ghost stories in the 20th century have been women. They helped create the modern ghost: a mixture of the old-fashioned Victorian gothic and science fiction. Rita Parisi from Waterfall Productions will present three ghost stories that probe the possibilities of other dimensions in time and human consciousness at the Hopkinton Public Library on Monday, October 26 at 6:30 PM.

Suitable for ages 10 and up.

Special Town Meeting Warrant for Monday October 26th

A special town meeting will be held on Monday October 26th at the Hopkinton High School Athletic Center (90 Hayden Rowe Street) between 7 and 11pm. Some of the major topics will include School Building Project and an indoor recreational facility / athletic center at Fruit Street.

Unibank Donates $5000 to Hopkinton Middle School Courtyard Project

Frederick J. “Fred” Carty, 82

Tunbridge, Vt.— Frederick J. “Fred” Carty, 82 died Monday, Oct. 5, 2015 at his home in Tunbridge, Vt. He was born July 28, 1933 in Providence, R.I. the son of Justin and Frances (Stanley) Carty. He spent his early years in Woburn, Mass. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Fred worked ten years at the Draper Corp. in Hopedale, Mass. and worked the next twenty years as a partner in the Farrar and Carty Landfill in Milford, Mass.

The Fox 25 Football game of the week will be???

Hopkinton and Holliston beat out North Andover VS Billerica to get the Fox 25 game of the week. In the Fox report they mentioned more people than any other week this season voted. 30,000 people voted overall and Fox will head to Hopkinton High School Friday Night.

Fox will do a pregame report for their newscast at 6 and highlights of the game for their newscast at 10pm.

Video: Milford Pee-Wee Football team is getting National Attention

The Milford Mighty Mites Pee-Wee football team is getting national attention over the below video. The video has appeared on Jimmy Fallon, Espn, National News Networks and just about every Boston news and sports outlet. During a play there was a little whip with a little nay-nay. The video has nearly 1 million hits on You Tube.

Google for Parents Workshop

The HPS Educational Technology Team has created a workshop for parents to learn Google Basics so they can understand what their child is bringing home in a 1:1 environment -- and maybe even start “Going Google” themselves.

The Workshop will be held on October 14, 2015 from 6-7pm in the HHS Library
