Hopkinton Public Schools Publish Update to Strategic Plan

By Michelle Murdock, Freelance Writer

The Hopkinton Public Schools Strategic Plan was approved by the School Committee in September 2009. Since that time, the district has provided periodic updates on the progress towards attaining Plan goals. In a recent message to parents, Superintendent Landman announced that the plan has been recently updated, detailing progress over the 2011-2012 school year.

"We are very proud of the excellent education provided by our public schools," said Landman. "I encourage all Hopkinton taxpayers and especially HPS parents to take a few minutes to review the update. The document lays out the hard work that staff and administration continue to do on behalf of Hopkinton's youth - and illustrates why the Hopkinton Public Schools, with per pupil expenditures over $1,000 below the statewide average and outstanding academic outcomes, are providing the community with outstanding value on the dollar."
