The Hopkinton Republican Town Committee is seeking caucus candidates for the upcoming Town Elections. Hopkinton Republicans interested in serving as elected town officials can be placed on the May 20th ballot by running in our caucus. To be placed on the Republican caucus ballot, contact Ken Weismantel, Chairman by Thursday, April 11th. There are several open positions where candidates have not indicated their intentions to run by submitting nomination papers. We are actively recruiting candidates.

We are pleased to announce that in addition to the Republicans that have submitted nomination papers, John Ferrari and Todd Holbrook have put their names on the Republican Caucus Ballot to be elected to the Planning Board. Both candidates have experience that well qualifies them for the Planning Board. John is the Chairman of Hopkinton’s Permanent Building Committee. Todd served previously on the Zoning Advisory Committee and was the Chairman of the Planning Board in Falmouth, ME before moving to Hopkinton.

The HRTC Caucus is from 5 to 7 pm in Room 211 of the Town Hall on Friday April 12th. All registered Republicans and unenrolled voters are welcome to vote in our caucus. Come to the caucus, vote and leave. Or stay for the monthly HRTC meeting which begins at 7 pm. The discussions will focus on how we will support our Republican candidates for town office, town issues on the upcoming Town Meeting warrant and the upcoming US Senate primary election.

If you have any questions or wish to be on the caucus ballot, contact Ken Weismantel, Chairman at ken@weismantel.com or at 508 435-5725.
