Hopkinton Republicans to Hold Caucus to Nominate Candidates for May Town Elections

The Hopkinton Republican Town Committee will hold a caucus to nominate candidates for the May 2012 Town elections on Friday, April 13, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in Room 211 in Town Hall at 18 Main Street, Hopkinton, MA 01748. The Republican Caucus is open to all Hopkinton registered Republican and unenrolled voters. Come and vote with a secret ballot at the caucus at any time between 5 and 7 pm and you are welcome to stay for the monthly HRTC meeting at 7:15 pm.

The following positions are available (and the number of open positions is shown). The Republican candidates that have requested to be included as of today on the caucus ballot are listed below:

Commissioner of Trust Fund - Thomas J. Garabedian- Incumbent
Housing Authority - Renee A. Gilson- Incumbent
Housing Authority (2014 Unexpired term)
Parks and Recreation Commission (2) - Robert T. Dobinski- Incumbent and Daniel F. Terry
Parks and Recreation Commission (2013 Unexpired term) Brian O’Keefe- Incumbent
Planning Board 2) - Kenneth Weismantel- Incumbent and Matthew Wade
School Committee (2) Frank Sivo

You must be a registered Republican to be placed on our caucus ballot. All Republican candidates nominated by the caucus will receive the support from the Hopkinton Republican Town Committee in the upcoming Town Election.
