Town of Hopkinton Seeks a PT (19 hours/wk) Program Coordinator for its Parks and Recreation Department - Under the direct supervision of the Director of Parks and Recreation, the Program Coordinator provides administrative support to the Director, and Board of Parks and Recreation. Duties include but are not limited to the ability to conduct basic arithmetical computations and tabulations with speed and accuracy, meeting transcription, records management, preparing detailed and accurate reports, and overall support for the development and implementation of all Parks and Recreation programs, as well as office/administrative work. Exposure to private information requires a high degree of confidentiality. This position has frequent contact with program participants; Town departments, boards, and committees; contractors and vendors; schools; and the public; therefore, excellent customer service is vital.

Qualifications: One (1) to two (2) years general office experience, preferably in municipal setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills are required. Experience with Windows, MS, Google, and other recreational software applications a must. Strong knowledge of community recreational needs and resources a plus.
