The Hopkinton Swimming and Diving team won their 5th straight Tri-Valley League championship racking up 1,060 points at the championship at the Wheaton College Pool. The Hillers were unable to win their 6th straight regular season title but got revenge taking home the TVL Championship.

Hopkinton Coach Bryan King talked to the Metrowest Daily News about the depth of the team; "I think the ability to win five in a row speaks to the depth of this program. We may not have kids winning every race, but we're going to have a bunch of names in the top three or the top five of an event because of our depth."

The Hillers had five first place finishes in the championship. The 200-Yard Medley Relay was won by Sophomore Emily Wei, Freshman Rachel Zale, Junior Olivia Handrahan, and Senior Bridget Coffey as they finished with a time of 1:57:10.

Junior Olivia Handrahan won the Girls 50 Freestyle with a score of 25.91.

Sophomore Alyssa Anneberg won the diving championship with a score of 258.75.

Senior Bridgit Coffey won the 100-yard breakstroke on the Girls side with a time of 1:10.41 while Senior Andrew Madigan won on the Boys side at a time of 1:04.68.

Hopkinton Swim and Dive not only won the TVL Championship but displayed great sportsmanship throughout the season and will be rewarded by the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association with the Swimming Sportsmanship Award.
