Hopkinton Town Hall to Remain Closed Wednesday 4/12 due to flood

Hopkinton Town Hall to remain closed Wednesday April 12th due to a flood that occurred Tuesday evening because of a burst pipe. Town Hall was evacuated and closed Tuesday at approximately 5:30pm. The below statement was released from the town.

"Due to the burst water pipe and associated flooding that happened today (Tue 4/11), Hopkinton Town Hall will be closed on Wed 4/12. Hopkinton Emergency Management Director and Fire Chief Slaman is coordinating the efforts of Hopkinton Fire and remediation crews. In conjunction with Safety Inspectors, Chief Slaman will advise when the building is safe to reopen.

The Board of Selectmen's meeting that was scheduled for Tue 4/11 has been tentatively rescheduled for Wed 4/12 at 6pm. Location TBD.
