Over the next week, and in connection with promoting performances of its spring musical, Big Fish, the Enter Stage Left Theater (ESL) has partnered with local charities to build awareness, while donating up to 10% of ticket sales back to those charities.
Edward Bloom, the production’s protagonist, conveys that “being a hero” means more than adventure. It means, in his larger-than-life way, standing up for, helping out, and loving others along life’s bold journey. As Edward says, “The best part of an adventure is the people you meet!”
According to ESL Board Member, Joe Gammal, “ESL Theater is grateful to be part of a community of organizations that helps people be heroic in their own way. We created the ‘Be the Hero of Your Story’ campaign to help bring our community together around this show, its messages, and these charitable efforts."
Participating charitable organizations include, Hopkinton Parent Teachers Association, Boys Scouts of America - Hopkinton Troop 1, Pan-Mass Challenge/Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Relay for Life/American Cancer Society, Re/Max Executive Realty Charitable Foundation, and Real Housewives of Hopkinton.
Six performances at the The Delbridge Family Performance Space, 98 Hayden Rowe Street, Hopkinton: Friday & Saturday, March 24, 25, 31 & April 1 at 7:30 pm. Sundays, March 26 & April 2 at 2 pm. Tickets are $20.00 for adults, $15.00 for students and seniors and may be purchased at the door or online at HopArtsCenter.org.
