Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day Set

GUIDELINES
o The town will accept household hazardous products no longer needed.
o The items will preferably be in original, sealed containers.
o Limit 25 pounds per household.
o Limit one trip per household.
o Proof of residency required (Driver’s License)
o Stay in your vehicle when you arrive at the garage.

HOW TO SAFELY TRANSPORT YOUR HAZARDOUS WASTES – Tighten caps and lids and use original containers. Pack containers in sturdy, upright boxes and pad with newspaper.

Visit the Hopkinton DPW’s Recycling Web Site at www.hopkinton.org/gov/recycling/index.htm for more information. Sort and Pack items separately. Avoid spills and do not use garbage bags. NEVER MIX CHEMICALS. Pack your car and drive directly to the site. NEVER SMOKE while handling hazardous material.
