Twice during the school year, the Hopkinton Education Foundation recognizes through its Thank-A-Teacher program all of the great work Hopkinton teachers accomplish. The current program has officially begun and will continue until June 9.
The Hopkinton Education Foundation is asking the community to contribute to its organization in honor of a teacher or member of a teaching team. Those being recognized will receive a letter honoring them along and will include the name of their student whose family contributed.

“This is a unique opportunity to recognize Hopkinton teachers while helping the Hopkinton Education Foundation. Hopkinton teachers do so much for our children that we'd like to give them a special thanks,” says Hopkinton Education Foundation President Di Collins. “It’s only fitting that as this school year comes to a close we celebrate those who work so hard to make our children’s education such a wonderful experience.”

To participate in the program, a Thank-A-Teacher donation form is attached below and, when completed, can be nd sent to the Hopkinton Education Foundation, PO Box #109, Hopkinton, MA 01748.

To ensure that teachers receive their recognition letter before the end of the school year, forms and donations must be received by June 9.

Money raised through this program goes directly to funding high quality, innovative programs throughout Hopkinton's school system. Through the generous support of the Hopkinton community, the Education Foundation continues to foster programs positively impacting all educational disciplines. The Hopkinton Education Foundation is proud to announce that it has funded more than $950,000 worth of grants since its inception in 1992.

Grants have included introducing iPad and e-book technology to enhance second and third-grade language arts curriculum, piloting a writing mentoring program between fifth and first-grade students, providing interactive software to high school science classes, and helping Center School teachers implement new literacy assessments and instruction.
