Jennifer J. Hart, 48, of Hopkinton died peacefully surrounded by her family on Oct. 31st after a brief, but courageous battle with brain cancer. She was the beloved daughter of Patricia (DeCoff) Hart and the late Donald Hart Sr. of Hopkinton. Jen was a graduate of Hopkinton High School Class of 1984 and worked as a mortgage underwriter for Gateway Funding of Franklin. Jen was a free spirit who enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved her family and friends unconditionally. She enjoyed golfing, good times with friends, and lazy days by her sister’s pool and at the ocean.
In addition to her mother, Jen leaves her siblings Dawn Ann Elder and her husband Paul of Hopkinton, Donald Hart Jr. and his wife Isabel of Hopkinton, Kathy Williamson and her husband Steve of Hopkinton, Karen Ward of Framingham, and Jim Hart and his wife Vicky of Hopkinton. Jen had 14 nieces and nephews whom she loved fiercely and spoiled often, and was also a grand aunt of 7. She was a devoted and doting “mother” to her beloved puggle, Rodney.
Jen’s passing leaves a hole in the hearts of the people who loved her. That hole will be filled with many wonderful memories.
