Joseph E. Sullivan, 92, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Royal Cape Cod Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Bourne. He was the husband of the late Patricia (Crowley) Sullivan. Born in Waltham, he was the son of the late Michael and Beatrice (McCune) Sullivan.
He was a Newton police officer for 30 years and a U.S. Navy veteran serving in WWII.
He is survived by his children John and wife Inga of SC, Joseph Sullivan of AZ, Suzanne Evans and husband Ian of AZ, Donald and wife Victoria of Lexington and Dennis Sullivan and wife Kim of Hopkinton. He also leaves a special friend, Katherine Roundville of Wareham and his 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Callanan Cronin Funeral Home.
