Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee Concert at St. Paul’s November 13

The combined choirs and wind ensemble of Community Covenant and St. Paul’s Episocal churches in Hopkinton will be presenting a Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee concert at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Sunday, November 13 at 3:00 p.m. The concert is open to the public, and while there is no charge there will be a free-will offering to support Hopkinton’s coordinated response to the current Refugee Crisis. St. Paul’s is located at 61 Wood Street (Rte 135) in Hopkinton.

Under the direction of St. Paul’s Minister of Music Karen Scheffler, the concert will feature the voices of the choir and congregation as they join music from the organ, piano, flute, and euphonium in celebration of God and His blessings. Featured pieces include Johann Sebastian Bach’s Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring, Johann Pachelbel’s Canon in D, Jubilate, Exsultate from Douglas E. Wagner, and John Rutter’s The Lord Bless You and Keep You. The audience will be invited to sing along during certain songs during the concert.
