On Wednesday, July 13th, the Xaverian Missionaries will hold the traditional Fatima Day celebration in honor of Our Lady. It is going to be our third Fatima Day of 2016. This year’s theme is connected to the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy – Mary Mother of Mercy. The main celebrant and homilist will be Fr. Rocco Puopolo, sx. Fr. Rocco served for many years in Sierra Leone (West Africa), then in Washington, DC as Executive Director of Africa Faith and Justice Network (AFJN) and since 2012 has been in Holliston as Director of the Global Youth Mission Services (GYM). The theme for the evening is: “Mary and Mercy in tumultuous times.” The evening begins with a sing-along at 6:30 PM and Mass at 7:00 PM. At 8:00 PM, a Rosary and Candlelight procession will be followed by refreshments served in the Shrine’s Hall. All are welcome!
