Leslie Edward Clark, 82

Leslie Edward Clark, 82, of Hopkinton, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011. Born in Connecticut, he was the son of the late Howard and Helen
(Pendleton) Clark. He was the husband of Patricia (Fredette) Clark of Hopkinton.

A Sgt. in the Army and a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was an employee of the Hopkinton Highway for 20 years and a Hopkinton call firefighter for 35 years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Kenneth Clark and his wife Marie, Frances Clark, and Robert Clark and his wife Kimberly all of Hopkinton; a daughter, Virginia Hanzarak of Hopedale; his stepchildren, James E. Dill of Colorado, Gregory A. Dill of Maryland, Rosemary Malone of NY, and Debra Vautour of NH. He also leaves behind his siblings, Graham Pendleton of CT, Clara Blascke of CT, Shirley Saunders of CT, Gloria Thrasher of GA, as well as 21 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Private burial services will be held at the family’s lot in St. John’s Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 11:00a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church in Hopkinton. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton.
