Want to learn more about Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) here in Hopkinton? A presentation by Long Life Farm co-owner Laura Davis will take place at the Hopkinton Public Library on Wednesday, January 16th at 7:00 pm.

Davis, a former healthcare executive, began growing vegetables on a ¼ acre at the corner of School and Pond Street in 2011 owned by Drs. Love and Karlin. According to the Long Life Farm website, her first goal was to ensure that she could grow quality food on a deadline. In 2012, after a successful start, Davis looked for more land and was able to add another 1 ¼ acres at Amato Farm and hopes to expand further in 2013.

Long Life Farm is also donating a bi-weekly share to the Friends of the Library raffle to be held on Wednesday, March 27. This 10-week share is worth $300. Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25 and will be available at library on January 16th.
