Have you been thinking about getting in shape in 2016 or turning the page on a healthier diet after the holidays? CrossFit Resilience (CFR) has just the program for you: “Lose it for the Library!” - a weight loss challenge for Hopkinton starting January 7, 2016.

“We’re very excited to be offering this comprehensive program, which will motivate participants to exercise more regularly and make healthier food choices,” says Drew Carnase, owner of CrossFit Resilience. “We’ve been looking for a meaningful way to combine a donation to the hugely important new Library building project with what we do on a daily basis. We’re hoping that the Hopkinton Weight Loss Challenge will help the participants to start next year off in a really positive way – feeling great about their health and about the state of the Library project."

The Challenge runs for one month from Thursday, January 7, 2016 to Friday, February 5, 2016. The cost to participate is $30 - half of this program entry fee will be donated to the Library Building Project; the other half goes to the male & female winners. In addition, each male and female winner will be offered a free month’s membership at CFR. Winners will be determined by the largest percentage of weight lost during the 30 day Challenge period. Registration and initial weigh-in must take place prior to Thursday, January 7th, 2016. You must be 17 years or older to participate.

“We are thrilled to have CrossFit Resilience joining HPLF in writing the next chapter of our beloved Hopkinton Public Library,” commented HPLF Chairperson Laura Barry. “It’s wonderful having the support of local businesses in town, engaging the community and driving action for a great program along with awareness for much needed improvement of an important community hub that will benefit current and future generations.”

CFR has put together a fantastic package that also includes: a starter packet with healthy food and exercise choices, access to a closed group Facebook community to share tips & successes, weekly emails on nutrition and workouts during course of challenge, access to 3 free Saturday workouts at CFR, and discounted membership for all participants. Best of all, the program combines a healthy start to 2016 with a contribution to our new Library.
