Mid Week Hiller Update

On Tuesday, the Varsity Golf team traveled to Maple Gate C.C. and defeated a very good Medway team by the score of 246 - 256. The Hillers record is now 8 -0 and the Mustangs from Medway fall to 6-2. Leading the way once again for the Hillers was Sr. Capt. Jimmy Hervol who shot an even par 36. Jr. Matt Johnson followed up with a 39. Three of our Hillers all shot 42's today - Geoff Holler - Jake Doherty - & Connor Czerepuszko. Drew Simi & Matt Locke (playing in his 1st Varsity Match) both shot scores of 45's for their nine holes. Anthony DePaolo shot 46 - Jacob Southern finished with a 47 and Jason Randall had a tough day today with a 53. "A lot of players were disappointed with their rounds today and they struggled", said Coach Dick Bliss, "but the bottom line is we did enough at all 8 spots on this TEAM today to secure another victory." The next Varsity Golf match is at Hopkinton C.C. vs. Bellingham next Tuesday.

The Sub Varsity team defeated Westwood today by the score of 263 -296 in their second home match @ Hopkinton C.C. They recorded their 9th victory in a row on Tuesday to remain undefeated for the season. Leading the way for the Hiller team today was Aidan Curry and Dylan Goodnough with 41's. Nate Tuite shot 42 - Nathan Mezitt and Nick Scire both shot 46's - Kyle Fairbanks scored a 47 - Steven Auslander shot 49 and Dario Venuto shot 52. The other members of the HHS team went out before the match and here are their scores today. Anthony Lisciotto - 44 William Abernethy - 47 Andrew McGuire 48 Jon Simmer - 49 Chris Hadley - 51 Jack Quinlan 57. Kyle Halloran had NO CARD today. Kyle please see me before our practice tomorrow. Next match for the Sub Varsity will be vs. Westwood next Monday.

On Wednesday, the Girls Varsity Soccer team knocked off Millis 1-0 followed by the Boys Varsity Soccer team, who played a strong 2nd half beating Millis 5-1. Both games were at home.

The Varsity Volleyball team stayed undefeated with an easy 3-0 win over Millis at the Athletic Center.

In Medfield, the Girls Cross Country team sprinted past Medfield 16-47 and remains undefeated. The Boys Cross Country team defeated Medfield 23-34 and they too remain undefeated.

The Varsity Field Hockey team picked up a point with a 0-0 tie at Ashland. Sara Freedman was stellar in goal.
