Sheriff Koutoujian helps welcome new citizens Reception held at Armenian Heritage Park

BOSTON – Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian helped welcome newly naturalized American citizens during a reception at Boston’s Armenian Heritage Park on Thursday, September 21.

Sheriff Koutoujian led a procession of new citizens and their family members from the naturalization ceremony at Faneuil Hall to the park, where he and U.S. District Court Judge Indira Talwani offered remarks.

Francis “Phil” Frieh, 81, of Wells, ME, formally of Hopkinton, MA and Cincinnati, OH, passed away peacefully at home Monday, September 11, 2017, surrounded by family and friends following a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.

Nazzareno L. "Reno" Baci, 92

Nazzareno L. Baci, 92, of Milford passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Countryside Health Care, Milford. He was the husband of 66 years of the late Alma Baci (Petrilli) who passed away September 6, 2017.

'Reno' was a Court Officer in the Worcester Superior Court and a Worcester County Deputy Sheriff for decades before retiring to spend time with his family. He was also a Milford Park Commissioner for 42 years. He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees in WWII, stationed in the Philippines and China.

The road will be closed from 9am-4pm. School buses will be allowed through.
