The Massachusetts Council of Aging (MCOA) is launching a new Regional Networking Group program right in your local area to support and assist people 50+ years old who are looking for a new job or guidance in transitioning into a new career direction. This program is open to any individual who resides in MA and is 50 years and older. Networking meetings will be held at the Hopkinton COA biweekly on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 9:00 AM through June 2016.

Upcoming Topics:

6/9: Eric Ross – “Power Networking: A relationship-referral process to build your professional network” - This presentation will give attendees all the tools necessary to develop extensive networks that access the hidden job market and that will pay continuing dividends throughout one’s career. Attendees will learn a comprehensive step-by-step process that starts with people they already know and generates a continuing source of new and valued professional contacts. The presentation will give all attendees a thorough overview of the total person-to-person networking process.

6/23: Dawn Quesnel - B.R.I.D.G.E Method™ has six proactive steps to connect you with success regardless of what stage you are in your career. BRIDGE is an acronym for the time-tested job search method with a 10-year record of success that I have used to lead hundreds of job seekers to jobs and careers they love in almost half the time.

The Hopkinton COA is located at 28 Mayhew Street, Hopkinton, 508-497-9730. Networking meetings will be moderated by Dawn Quesnel, CPCC, PCC of CoachDQ.com, a Certified Career & Life Coach and creator of the B.R.I.D.G.E. Method for the Encore Career and Amy Beck, Co-Facilitator and Assistant Director of the Hopkinton Senior Center.

There is a nominal fee of $5 to attend. Coffee provided to encourage networking!
