Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA) introduces a new day-time program where kids can come to do their schoolwork while having the opportunity to participate in creative programs in the fine arts, movement, and theater. The Study & Enrichment Program is open to students in Grades 2 through 8 and is available in a half or extended day option. COVID safety protocols remain in place at the HCA and class size is limited to ten to ensure proper social distancing. While the program is geared towards kids in the Hopkinton School District, students from any district may attend. Need-based scholarships are available. To learn more about this program or to register visit www.hopartscenter.org.

“We understand that with the new Hybrid school system in place many working parents need a safe place where they can send their children during the day,” said Sandee Buckley, HCA Operations Director. “The unique thing about our program is that we offer an enrichment component you won’t find elsewhere. Our qualified artist-instructors will offer hour-long classes where students can participate in fun and creative activities.” Students in the SEP may also opt to recieve remote learning services from Education Station in Hopkinton for an additional cost.

Hopkinton Center for the Arts is a non-profit community arts organization that works to create a place for people of all ages and abilities to study, enjoy, and participate in the visual and performing arts under one roof.

The HCA annually offers over 200 classes to more than 1,000 students, from preschool to seniors, drawn from more than 200 cities and towns in Massachusetts. In 2015, the HCA opened its new arts center, with newly renovated classrooms, a 200-seat performance space, and gallery spaces. The Delbridge Family Performance Space and the Lotvin Family Gallery annually present dozens of productions and exhibitions.
