Patricia M. Carmichael, 87, died Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Milford Hospital. She was the wife of Richard L. Carmichael. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Dorothy (Schmutz) Mullin.
Pat was a 1953 graduate of Hopkinton High School. She worked a variety of jobs which included Telephone Co., Bethany School, Insurance,and various jobs at Hopkinton Drugstore. Pat was a true fan of the N.E. Patriots. Gardening was a favorite pastime. She loved playing in the dirt. She spent as much time as possible on the Cape and enjoyed the "tribe." The word family was too small for all her children, grandchildren and great-granchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children June Johnson and husband Keith of Worcester, Daniel McBride and wife Janet of PA and George McBride and his wife Awn of Thailand. She also leaves 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and her siblings Maureen Zachary and husband Mark of CA and Edmund "Skip" Mullin of Ipswich.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Callanan Cronin Funeral Home
, 34 Church Street, Hopkinton. Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday, December 10, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
