Peter F. Curran, 65, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in Milford, MA. He was the husband of Kathleen (Lynch) Curran, to whom he was married for 28 years.
Born in Nashua, NH, he was the son of the late John R. and Cecilia (Downing) Curran. He was a retired Vice President of Sales for New England Mutual Life and later was associated with Fecteau Benefits, Inc., of RI. He was a Hopkinton resident for over 25 years. A passionate golfer, he was a member of Framingham Country Club. He enjoyed mentoring young golfers and sharing his knowledge of the game with other families in an effort to develop young players.
In addition to his wife Kathy, he is survived by his daughter Jessica Curran of Hopkinton, MA and his son Jonathan Curran of Jupiter, FL. He also leaves his brother John R. Curran of Quincy, MA.
The funeral will be held Monday, February 20, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. from the Callanan-Cronin Funeral Home, 34 Church St. (http:///www.callanancronin.com). A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John the Evangelist church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hopkinton, MA. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
