Press Advisory: Strategies for Student Stress: A Social-Emotional Learning Forum for K-12 Parents

BOSTON — On January 14th, 2020, Massachusetts State Senate President Karen E. Spilka, in partnership with MetroWest Health Foundation, Call2Talk, MetroWest Medical Center and Framingham State University will host Strategies for Student Stress: A Social-Emotional Learning Forum for K-12 Parents. The forum is designed to help parents and students talk about stress, mental health, and strategies to deal with the many pressures students face today, regardless of age or background.

This workshop is specifically for parents to learn the latest strategies to reduce student stress levels, build resilience, and promote overall wellness. The event is the third in a series presented by Senate President Spilka as part of her #MetroWestKids.
