Principal Martineau Squashes Rumors At Hopkins

It has come to my attention that there is a rumor spreading amongst Hopkins students that a student injured a staff member at Hopkins School. I would like to clearly communicate that there is no truth to this rumor. Although the Hopkinton Paramedics were called to Hopkins School yesterday, it was due to a student medical issue (purely precautionary). I appreciate parents reaching out to Hopkins School and sharing that this information was spreading amongst Hopkins students. This morning, teachers will emphasize with students that they are safe, there was not a student safety issue at Hopkins School yesterday, and that the paramedics were on site as a result of a student medical issue. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Respectfully,

Greg Martineau
Hopkins School Principal
