Raymond J. Fair, 94, died Friday. July 13, 2012 at home. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Raymond J. Fair Sr. and Helen Durant. He was a U.S. Army WWII veteran and was employed by Fenwal of Ashland, MA for many years. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 202 of Hopkinton, VFW of Ashland and a lifetime member of the Maspenock Rod & Gun Club of Milford.
He is survived by his sons Raymond J. Fair and his wife Brenda of Hopkinton and Edward L. Fair of West Boylston, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He also leaves his sisters Helen Cady of Hopkinton and Virginia Bamforth of Tittusville, FL and his brother Joseph Fair of Oceanside, CA. He is predeceased by his wives Helen McAvoy of Milford and Mabel Morrissey of Franklin.
Funeral service will be Thursday, July 19 at 10:00 a.m. in the Callanan Cronin Funeral Home, 34 Church Street. Burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Hopkinton. Calling hours at the funeral home are Wedneday, July 18 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
