What is happening?

MassDOT is pleased to announce that the replacement of the I-90 eastbound bridges over Parkerville Road in Southborough and Flanders Road in Westborough was successfully completed ahead of schedule this morning at approximately 4:00 AM. All lanes on I-90, Parkerville Road and Flanders Road are now open for travel.

The project is replacing 8 bridges over 8 weekends this summer between the Route 9 and I-495 interchanges.

MassDOT appreciates your patience during this major infrastructure project.

Reminder

Details on the upcoming I-90 paving work the weekend of August 13 can be found on the How will I be Impacted? page of the project website. Paving of the I-90 East bridges will begin on Friday, August 13 at 7:00 PM.

How will this affect me?

The upcoming work next weekend is to pave the bridges on the eastbound side of I-90, and will not require local road lane closures or a crossover. The work will take place from 7:00 PM on Friday, August 13, to 5:00 AM on Monday, August 16. There will be various lane closures on I-90 only.
