Today Representative Carolyn Dykema (D-Holliston) sent a letter to the Massachusetts Gaming Commission highlighting reasons that Foxwoods is not a suitable business partner for the Commonwealth as it seeks to bring casino gambling to Massachusetts.

“The Gaming Commission is charged with ensuring the highest possible standards for the gaming industry and gaming licenses in the Commonwealth,” said Rep. Dykema. “This applicant’s history provides ample evidence for why they are not a suitable partner for the state or our municipalities. The Gaming Commission has a responsibility to act in the interest of taxpayers and dismiss this applicant from further consideration.”

A copy of Representative Dykema’s letter to the Commission is attached.
