Enter Stage Left Theater presents “Rhythm of Love” Cabaret, a musical performance of love-themed songs that have been chosen by, and hold special meaning for, each cast member.

Featuring high school performers from Hopkinton and surrounding towns (as well as special appearances by well-known, area performers), this 80-minute production is highly interactive, with cast members “breaking the fourth wall” by sitting with the audience and adding context before and after each number.

As director, Alyssa Rae Surrette, explains, “This intimate show emphasizes the relationship between the performers and the audience. It’s a journey that we take together with the cast.”

Songs include, If I Could Write A Book, I Love Play Rehearsal, Screw Loose, When He Sees Me (Waitress), Shopping Around, Someone Like You ( Jekyll and Hyde ), Take Me To The World, Come Down from this Tree (once on this island ), Secret for the Mad (Sung by Dodie), and more.

Two performances only, Saturday, February 10th, 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. The Delbridge Family Performance Space, 98 Hayden Rowe Street, Hopkinton. Tickets are $10 general admission, $15 for the “Sweetheart Valentine” option which includes a dessert, beverage and a reserved table. Both may be purchased at the door or online at HopArtsCenter.org.
