Ruth H. Geveke passed away peacefully on Friday, October 22nd, at the age of 93. Born in 1928 in Paterson, NJ, Ruth grew up in Wyckoff, NJ and graduated Eastern Christian Academy. In 1950, she married John Geveke of Paterson, NJ.
Ruth was predeceased by her husband, John Geveke; her brothers, Alan, James and John Ruit, and sister, Dorothy Vriesma. She has 2 daughters, Cheryl Geveke of Stockholm, NJ and Gayle and son-in-law, James Walker of Hopkinton. She also leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Bryanna, Jack and Zachary Walker all of Hopkinton.
Funeral services are being held in Wyckoff, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers Donations can be made to the Hopkinton Senior Center, Hopkinton, MA. Arrangements are being handled by Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton and Van Plaat Funeral Home in New Jersey.
