Beginning at 8:30 p.m. on Monday, February 25, the Planning Board will hold a Scenic Road Public Hearing to discuss the removal of 35 trees within the rights of way of School Street and West Main Street which are associated with the installation of the new traffic signal at the intersection.

According to a memo from DPW Director John Westerling to the Planning Board, the removal of the trees is necessary to accommodate the proposed construction and to improve the safety of the intersection.

A copy of the application for the Scenic Road Public Hearing and the plan for tree removal is attached.

Beginning at 7:30 p.m., there will also be a Public Hearing to review Zoning Bylaw and Zoning Map amendments. Please see the attached agenda for details.

Also to be discussed at the Monday night meeting is a review and discussion of the Open Space and Recreation Plan survey questions, and review of the proposal by the Historic District Commission to establish the Elmwood Farm Historic District.
