School Community Urges Residents to Sign Up for Email Communications

The School Committee is committed to improving communication with the entire Hopkinton community. The Committee has recently developed a Communications Plan, which is posted on the district website, and will be updated annually.

Currently, the School Committee communicates electronically with staff and parents or guardians of students in the school district via an e-mail distribution system called ‘Listserv’. The School Committee has added an option that will reach out to all citizens of the community. The types of communications that would come through this new Listserv option would include: School Committee meeting highlights; important school district budget updates; notification of proposed School Committee policy changes; information about building projects; and Superintendent newsletters.

Staff and parents or guardians who are already registered for Listerv messages related to their schools are encouraged to register for the School Committee listserv as well.
