Shirley A. Terry (Ciarlelli),71, of Millbury, MA and formerly of Meriden, CT passed away peacefully on Friday, December 5, 2014 under the loving care of her family. Shirley was born and raised in Wallingford, CT to the late William and Ann Ciarlelli. After graduating high school, Shirley worked at United Aircraft where she met the love of her life, Robert Terry, in 1966. They married and lived in Meriden, CT for more than 35 years while raising two daughters.
Shirley became a hairdresser and thrived in her career. She worked for many years at The Golden Touch in Meriden, CT and continued to work in Millbury, MA until her recent death. Robert and Shirley moved to Massachusetts in 2006 to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Shirley embraced her new community by making many wonderful friends.
Shirley leaves her husband Robert Terry of Millbury, her two daughters Sherri Alicandro and her husband Chris, Melissa Czerepuszko and her husband Paul, both of Hopkinton. Shirley was a devoted grandmother to Connor, Jill, and Joshua Czerepuszko and Marisa Alicandro. She is also survived by her brother William Ciarlelli of Wallingford, CT.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 9th at 10:00a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 20 Church St. Hopkinton.
