A part of AT&T's "It Can Wait" campaign, Senator Karen Spilka will speak to students at Hopkinton High School about the dangers of texting while driving on Monday, February 27.

The campaign from AT&T is aimed at raising awareness about the risks of texting and driving, and as part of Monday's presentation to students, AT&T will show its 10-minute documentary which tells the true stories of young drivers whose lives were altered or even ended because of texting and driving.

The presentation will begin at 8:30am for members of the junior class and will be repeated at 9:30am for the senior class. Other officials, including Hopkinton High School Principal Alyson Geary, School Resource Officer Phil Powers, Representative Carolyn Dykema and AT&T Vice President Dave Mancuso are scheduled to speak as well.
