St. Paul's "Blue Christmas" Service

By contributor,

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church invites the public to a special “Blue Christmas” Service on Sunday, December 18 at 6:00 p.m. This service will include readings, music, candle lighting and silence and will focus on the hope and healing God offers to each one of us. St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is located at 61 Wood Street (Rte. 135) in Hopkinton.

For many people, Christmas can be a difficult time and a painful reminder of what has been lost. For those dealing with financial strain, depression, grief, or illness, the holidays can be anything but happy. The non-denominational “Blue Christmas” service is a way to acknowledge our sadness and loneliness and remind ourselves that we are not alone. All are welcome and refreshments will be served.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church’s mission is to minister unconditionally to all in the name of Christ through shared worship, teaching, healing, and service. For more information visit www.stpaulhopkinton.org or call 508-435-4536.
