Save the Day, Friday, May 3rd at Hopkinton High School.

In honor of Hopkinton High School senior Emily Day and her fight against Hodgkin's Lymphoma, the class of 2013 is hosting Save the Day. Friends of Emily's have sold over 650 Save the Day t-shirts to raise money for Dana Farber in support of a road race that they will be running in June.

On Friday, hairdresser Ann-Michele Dragsbaek, owner of Ann-Michele's Uptown Hair Design in Hopkinton will be volunteering her time to give a few folks a new look.

History teachers Shannon Allberry and Sara Williams, and science teacher Liz Petruska will all be donating their hair. Science teacher Bryan King and several members of the boys lacrosse team will be shaving their heads and school resource officer, Phil Powers, will be shaving off his mustache!

Also during lunches (10:45am-12pm) on Friday, Team Emily wristbands will be sold for $3 and additional t-shirts will be sold ($10).

Special thanks to Barry Shore and Scott Siegel (from J W Ritchie) for getting us the t-shirts at cost, Brian Siegel from Quatiles Printscott for donating the cost of the printing and shipping of the shirts.
