Baypath Humane Society is in immediate need of temporary/foster homes for a few of our shelter dogs who have a tough time adjusting to shelter life.
We need a foster home ASAP for Yogi, a sweet, dashing young spaniel-mix who’s had many sad experiences in his short life. This has made him very shy, but once he warms up to you, he’s very affectionate.
This resilient boy made the long journey from Puerto Rico to Hopkinton for a second chance at happiness, and is working hard to acclimate to his new surroundings. He's great on a leash, knows several commands, and is progressing with house training. We urgently need to find a kind, patient person to welcome him into their home and give him the time to come out of his shell.
He loves going on long walks/hikes, and would thrive in an active home with no children. He’s lived with other dogs, and will do best with a female or easygoing male dog.
