You won’t want to miss this! Hopkinton Public Library Foundation’s 6th Annual Touch-A-Truck and Food Truck Festival will take place, rain or shine, on Sunday, June 4, 2017, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the Hopkinton High School Parking Lot. This event has something for boys and girls of all ages!

Climb aboard construction, service and emergency trucks and vehicles from First Charter School Bus, Garda Armored Car, Gentle Giant Moving Co., Greenwood Landscaping, Holliston Oil, Hopkinton Fire and Police Departments, J.C. Parmenter, Marguerite Concrete Inc, McIntyre Loam, Scott Septic, Two Men and a Truck, Under Pressure, and so many more. Like last year, we’re looking forward to about 50 vehicles filling the HHS parking lot. The first hour is horn-free for sensitive ears.

Roaming Railroad will provide a trackless train and a model car race track. Kids can get their faces painted, have fun with hands-on activities, and visit booths hosted by Absolute Yoga, the Hopkinton Center for the Arts, LeafFilter, Friends of Milford Catholic Elementary School, Paradise Island Kids, Pink Truck Designs, and Polka Tots Portable Play Parties. Touch-A-Truck is generously sponsored by Phipps Insurance Agency, Hometown Hospitality, and Kumon of Hopkinton.

Bring a blanket or chair and feast on lunch, dessert and drinks from a variety of Food Trucks including Anzio’s Brick Oven Pizza, Boston Event Specialists, Cape Cod Cannolis, The Cod Squad, Kona Ice, Minuteman Kettle Corn, Say Cheese!, Teri-Yummy, Trolley Dogs, Uncle E’s BBQ Express, and VeeBops Ice Cream.

In 2016, this fun-filled community event hosted 2,000 kids and their families and raised $14,000 for the restoration, renovation and expansion of Hopkinton Public Library. Limited space is still available for you or your business to participate! If you or your business has a unique vehicle to show off, or your business would like to host a booth, please contact us at info@hopkintonpubliclibraryfoundation.org. Please help us to make this year an even bigger success for our Library, scheduled to reopen this Fall at 13 Main Street!

Tickets are $8 for an adult and $5 for a child. Children under one are free. Speed up your check-in and purchase tickets in advance at www.hplfinc.org or at the Hopkinton Public Library. Download the event waiver to print, sign, and bring with you for check-in. Tickets will be available at the multiple entry points to the event. Parking is available at the Middle School, Hopkins School, and EMC Park.
