Starting on Monday, October 4th, Road Construction will start on Cross Street and High Street in Ashland. The purpose of the Road Construction is in order to install a water main and a gas main in a portion of Cross Street from Deer Ridge Road to the intersection of High and Cross. Also, a gas main will be installed in a portion of High Street from Braeburn to the intersection of Cross and High.

The Road Work should be complete by November 1.

There will be temporary detours set up during the day. It is best for people to seek an alternate route during construction.

All trenches will be paved at the end of each week. This weekly paving is considered a temporary patch. The permanent patch will occur no later than September 1, 2011. This will allow the trench to settle for 1 winter season.
