Friday, May 2 - Little League Appreciation Day
Players are encouraged to wear their team shirts to school!
Then cheer on the High School baseball team at 3:45 pm vs. Westwood on the Varsity Field (right behind Middle School).
Players in attendance will be able to:
Throw out a "first pitch" to our Varsity players
Participate in the 1st-3rd Dash just before the 3rd inning
Be a guest bat boy/girl in the dugout
Saturday - May 3 and May 10 - Baseball Clinic, Hopkinton High School Field
Stations will be run by Hopkinton High School Varsity players
May 3 for 10 - 12 year-olds
May 10 for 7 - 9 year-olds
Schedule:
*12-12:10: Intro and make groups
*12:10-12:20: Station 1
*12:20-12:30: Station 2
*12:30-12:40: Station 3
*12:40-12:50: Station 4
*12:50-1: Group review and break down
*Four Stations: IF Defense, OF Defense, Hitting, Pitching
Friday, May 9 - Red Sox World Series Trophy Comes to Hopkinton
EMC Field
3:00 pm - 5 pm
The Red Sox World Series trophy will be on display for viewing and photos.
We'll also have a Pitch, Hit and Run competition for boys and girls at 3:30 pm.
Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run is a FREE, skills event where boys and girls compete in four levels and have a chance to compete in Team Championship events at all 30 Major League ballparks and the National Finals at the MLB All-Star Game. For more information, see: www.mlb.com/phr
