Hopkinton Middle School students are participating in Nature's Classroom this week in Colebrook, CT. Parent and chaperone Darlene Hayes has shared some photos and an update from her visit to Camp Jewel. See the note from Hayes below:

I had the opportunity to spend the first couple days at Nature's Classroom. The kids are having a great time and learning from a very young, energentic team at nature's classroom. I saw kids learn about resources for corn, take yogo, make maple candy, learn geography and lots of fun time outdoor adventures.

Attached is a picture of the lovely setting in Colebrook, CT-Camp Jewel and a shot of a class doing yogo on the beach.

If you look at the two adults in the yoga class you may be able to make out Mrs. Grady, the Middle School Vice Prinicipal, and Mr. Rockwood, a 6th grade English teacher, who were taking part in this class..

When you kids come back ask them about ORT?
