Enjoy breakfast at the Senior Center Mess Hall featuring chipped beef and other great chow on Friday, 2 May 2014, at or about 0900 hours. The regulars show-up early for coffee and muffins, so don't be late. Always impressive is the camaraderie of good friends. Please invite Vets who don't receive this message. If there are transportation difficulties, call Amy Beck by 30 April 2014, 508 497-9730.

The Photo Gallery has 507 "poses" which are a result of a steady growth in our town-wide asset that everyone enjoys. Please maintain the momentum by locating an image of anyone who has lived in town and worn a military uniform www.hcam.tv/veterans/slideshow.shtml . Jim Cozzens is busy segmenting the photos by branch of service. Each branch will be alphabetized; e.g., www.hcam.tv/veterans/Marines.htm . It will allow an easier way to locate specific persons. Stay tuned.

Veterans Remember shows are available 24/7 at www.hcam.tv/veteransremember . Let us know of prospective guests. Visit the List of Links: www.hcam.tv/vets-links, and see a wide variety of veterans activities in Hopkinton.

On Patriots Day at the Town Common two of our comrades were honored at the start of The Marathon. See Morgan Molloy (WW II) and Phil Powers, Jr. (Afghanistan) with Tom Grilk, Executive Director of the BAA: www.hopnews.com/grilk_molloy_powers_6958.jpg . Serious military historians can see a review of the 10th-year anniversary of the Pat Tillman tragedy: espn.go.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/10816260/pat-tillman-enduring-guilt .

All who are at the breakfast will be able to earn a fully-paid meal by correctly answering the monthly baseball quiz. Must attend! Who was the first ML catcher to hit 40 HRs?

The Pledge of Allegiance and the blessing of our meal will be led by members of the American Legion McDonough-Carlberg Post 202.

See you Friday. Out.
