A whole lot of Ashland Legion Baseball took place this past week and right now we will get you updated on all the action. On Monday July 9th 7 and 2 Ashland Legion Baseball hosted Natick. Bottom of the 3rd, 1 on 2 outs, Louis Rossi drives in Ben Thomas and that is all Ashland would need. Post 77 added 2 more runs in the bottom of the 6th and took the 3-0 shutout win over Natick. Shane Leary went the complete 7 inning shuout, striking out 3 and giving up only 3 hits.

On Tuesday July 10th, Post 77 took on Hudson. 1-1 in the top of the 6th, Carter Drummett brings in the go ahead run and lifts Hudson to a 2-1 win. It was a great pitchers duel between Ashland Ben Fink and Hudson's Johan Asencio.

On Wednesday July 11th, Ashland hosted Newton. Post 77 adds on to their 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 2nd. Post 77 adds 3 more in the inning and led 4-0 until the top of the 6th. Newton would drive in 3 runs in the top of the 6th to make it a 4-3 game but in the bottom of the inning, Zach Pessin helped put Post 77 fans and teammates at ease with a 2 run triple to make it 6-3 Ashland and that's how the score would stay as Post 77 improved to 9 and 3 on the season.

On Thursday July 12th, the Ashland Post 77 week at home continued as they took on Waltham. Waltham led 3-1 heading to the bottom of the 2nd but Post 77 was able to scratch together some runs. Waltham would only score in the 1st inning as Ashland took the game 14 to 3.

On Friday July 13th, Post 77 took on undefeated 10 and 0 Lowell. Ashland got the scoring started in the bottom of the 1st with a run then added 2 more in the bottom of the 2nd. Post 77 took the game 3-1 over Lowell. Luke Gustavson went 6.2 of shutout baseball striking out 8. Andrew Sternick recorded the final out as Gustavson reached the pitch count maximum. With the Win Ashland improved to 11 and 3 overall.
