The TVL Champion Hopkinton Hillers grabbed the 12th seed in the South Division 1 bracket. In the first round, the Hillers hosted 21st seed Norwood at home.
Just past 10 minutes into the first, Sophomore, Caroline Wauters receives the feed from Junior, Sarah Todd and puts it in to make it a 1-0 Hillers lead. Norwood starts off the 2nd half with a couple bursts into Hillers territory, but the Hopkinton defense responded nicely. At 14:03 into the 2nd half, Senior, Anna Joyce with a turn around shot gives the Hillers a 2-0 lead. Fifty-Eight seconds later, Senior, Ally Scimone finds Junior, Caroline Murphy in-front of the net who gives the Hillers a 3-0 lead and the Hillers closed it out by that score.
