Video: Hillers Sports Update 10-27-2016

- The Hopkinton Hillers Field Hockey team defeated Ashland 3-1 to improve to 11-3-3 (25 points) on the season. The Hillers are heading to the playoffs and currently on top of the TVL.

- Hillers Volleyball got back in the win column with a 3-0 shutout over Norton. The Playoff bound Hillers are at the top of the TVL with a 15-2 record.

-Congratulations to the HMS boys' soccer team on their victory yesterday to conclude their season with a 7-5-2 record. Wesley Gillian, Tom Guerra and Peter Burdulis played well. Goal scorers in the game were Russell DeMarco, Ethan Champlin and Danny Andrews.

-The 8th grade field hockey team finished their season winning yesterday at home vs Ashland with a 4-0 result...goals from Natalie Clott, Sarah Doyle, Leila Frederick and another from Eleri Schutte (assist- Leila Frederick). The net was tended beautifully by Ceara Perry and Vani Sharma. Congratulations to all for a fine season as the team went undefeated with a 11-0-1 final record. And not a single goal was allowed the entire season - kudos girls!!

-The girls' soccer team beat Dedham yesterday 2-1 in the most competitive game of the season. Sophie Baumann had a beautiful goal after a pass from Alexis Viehl, and then Catherine Dacey fed Lauren Murphy the ball to put it in the net for the teams' second goal. Hannah Quinlan also played well by controlling the middle and distributing to her teammates. The girls last game will be away in Milford on Friday..
