Co-Director of the Hopkinton Center for the Arts gave us an update on what's happenings at the Arts Center. View the update and some of the upcoming HCA events below!

Sat, Jan 18th: Beatles to Bach 3 at 7pm. - Come and enjoy an evening filled with a variety of musical genres and talents presented by the Hopkinton Center for the Arts music faculty. The proceeds of the concert benefit the HCA Private Lesson Scholarship Fund. Buy tickets at https://www.hopartscenter.org/buyticket/4662

Mon, Jan 20th: Comedy Improv for Adults/Teens at 7pm - Whether you are experienced or completely new to improv, this class will cover it all! Experience the power of play and the fun of improvisational comedy in a fun and safe environment. Instructor: Barbara Kessler. 6 classes. Must have 6 students registered in order to run the program.

Fri, Jan 24th, Sat, Jan 25th and Sunday, Jan 26th - The Wizard of Oz - Directed by Mary Scarlata-Rowe & Melissa Ennulat. Follow the yellow brick road!
This classic tale, in which a Kansas farm girl travels over the rainbow to discover the magical power of home, has been entertaining audiences for generations.

Four Performances: Friday, 1/24/2020 @ 7:00 p.m, Saturday, 1/25 @ 3:00 and 7:00 p.m, Sunday, 1/26 @ 3:00 at Hopkinton Middle School, 88 Hayden Rowe Street

Sunday Jan 26th - Youth Group Orchestra at 11am - Does your child play a string instrument? Would they like an opportunity to meet other musicians and further develop their skills? Our youth orchestra will hone their skills, increase their confidence and provide performance opportunities for young musicians. (Violin, Cello, Viola, Bass). Instructor Rebecca Knapp. 10 classes

Fri, Jan 31st - Ballet 3 & 4 (Friday) Half Year - Students will work on skills in a structured class format to include barre work, center, and elements across the floor. Emphasis is placed on form, musicality, coordination, expression, and working together as a corps. A portion of class remains dedicated to creative dance and individual expression. Many performing opportunities are available for students at this level. Ages 8-11. Price is based on one class a week for 18 weeks. Instructor: Jessica Wilson
