More about Sewa International Volunteer Efforts:

Volunteers:
We created a team of over 75 volunteers from different places who joined hands to make this project a success. The volunteers came with different skills to create the masks like Cutting, stitching and coaching the volunteers on different aspects of Mask creation.

Mask Project:
We were able to create a variety of Masks like Surgical Masks, N95, KN95, Fabric masks and Fabric Filter masks. Our team of volunteers created over 3000 masks which have been distributed to various institutions to help the society. Some of these institutes were Hospitals, Health Centers, Rehab Centers, Nursing Homes, Physicians, Assisted living centers, Hopkinton Police station , Fire department and Health center.

Donations:
Through the vast network of people we were also able to cool some donations from a lot of people both in form of Money as well as things required for the creation of the Masks.

The project has been a great success and appreciated by a lot of people. It has been an immensely humbling experience to see so many people come together during these trying times and contributing in various ways to deal with the situation.

Our upcoming projects for Covid 19 are scrub cap and gown.
