Video: Hopkinton Hillers Baseball and Softball Update 5-3-2018

-On Tuesday May 1st, Hopkinton Hillers softball took on Westwood in their home opener. The Hillers put up 3 runs in the 1st inning, 5 more in the 2nd inning and 3 more in the 3rd inning. The Hillers girls would get the mercy win with another run in the bottom of the 6th. Hopkinton takes down Westwood 12-0 and improves to 4 and 1 on the season. Westwood falls to 0 and 5. Katy Holly was great from the pitchers circle giving up no runs, 2 hits and striking out a pair.

-Hillers baseball took care of business against Westwood in their home opener. Hopkinton won the game 2 to 1. Brendan Kelly pitched a solid 5 innings giving up 2 runs and 1 hit. Andrew Siraco pitched 2 clean innings to close out the game and grab the win. Hillers won the game via a walkoff in the bottom of the 7th, Tommy Ambrosone got the winning hit and RBI. The Hillers followed up with a 2nd straight home walkoff win on Wednesday May 2nd, after trailing 4-1 heading to bottom of the 7th the Hillers rallied and plated a walk-off run in the bottom of the 9th to take the 5-4 victory over Norton and improve to 5 wins and 3 losses on the season.
