Video: Hopkinton Hillers Girls Basketball Playoff Highlights 3-7-2018

After taking down TVL Rival Holliston in the first round 52-27, on Saturday March 3rd, The 4th seeded Hopkinton Hillers Girls Basketball team hosted the 5th seeded Medfield Warriors in the Central Division 2 Sectional Quarter Finals. Senior Forward, Regan Keavany led the charge with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Ivy Gogolin had 13 points of her own. Heading to the 4th quarter, Ivy only had 3 points but took over in the final 8 minutes. Calli Korbey got the ball with under a minute left and secured the victory with a 3 pointer. The Hopkinton Hillers defeated Medfield 49-42 to advance on to the Semi-Finals.

On Monday March 5th, the 4th seeded Hillers girls took on 1st seeded Groton-Dunstable at Clark University and right at the halftime buzzer, Calli Korbey with another post season buzzer beater to send the Hillers into the halftime locker room up 7. Ivy Gogolin put up a team high 11 points and 12 rebounds, Regan Keavany added 9 points and 9 rebounds as well as 3 assists and Marissa Prall came up with 9 points as the Hillers took the game 43-39.

4th seeded Hopkinton advances on to the Central Division 2 Sectional Finals and they will take on 3rd seeded Medway at WPI. Game is currently scheduled for Saturday March 10th at 5:15pm but keep an eye on the MIAA brackets and the HCAM website as recent weather could bring changes to the MIAA Schedule.
